TALKING POINTS

* Four of the 11 winners since 2004 have come out of the TJ Smith Stakes. English (3rd in the TJ Smith), Fast `N’ Rocking (8th) and Rebel Dane (9th) are backing up from that race

* Three-year-olds have good record. Two will run on Saturday – English and Press Statement

* Gai Waterhouse has won the race four times and saddles up English on Saturday

* Former Italian galloper Goldstream will be having his first Australian start for trainer Kris Lees
