Hartnell will join his Godolphin stablemate Alizee in the inaugural All-Star Mile at Flemington having gained a wild card entry into the $5 million race.
The field of 14 for the 1600m race on March 16 has been finalised with the Australian Guineas quinella pairing of Mystic Journey and Hawkshot also wild cards.
The three wild card entries announced on Monday join Happy Clapper and the top 10 vote getters, headed by South Australian Balf’s Choice who polled the top number of votes.
