England’s champion race horse ‘Frankel’ has taken out the first Group 1 and the first race of the Royal Ascot carnival with an easy win of 11 Lengths.
Frankel sat off the speed throughout before being urged along by Queally at the 400m mark in which he past the leaders and continued to increase his lead until the finish.
Excelebration was again gallant in defeat but was no match for Frankel.
