Australia’s Hall of Famer Karrie Webb tied the tournament record with an eight-under-par 64 to climb into contention at the LPGA Tour’s Mobile Bay Classic in Alabama.
Webb posted eight birdies, including five on the back nine of The Crossings course, to head into Sunday’s final round five shots behind American leader Stacy Lewis.
Lewis shot a third round 67 to reach a 14-under 202 total, two shots clear of fellow American Brittany Lincicome (67) with France’s Karine Icher (68) a further shot back in third place.
Webb was one shot behind fellow Australian Lindsey Wright who posted a 69 to be tied fourth.
