Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy secured the world No.1 golf ranking when he claimed a two-stroke victory at the US PGA Tour’s Honda Classic on Sunday.
The 22-year-old shot a final round 69 to finish at 12-under 268, two shots ahead of Americans Tiger Woods (62) and Tom Gillis (69).
