Day in the mix at Zurich Classic

Jason Day moved into a five-way tie for third at the Zurich Classic when play was suspended due to the threat of severe weather in the second round at TPC Louisiana.

The Australian was five under through 14 holes of his round, moving him to 10 under for the tournament and one shot from American leaders Hudson Swafford and Boo Weekley.

Swafford fired a six-under 66 in his completed round on Friday while Weekley was three under for the day with three holes remaining.

World No.6 Day is locked with Brandon de Jonge, Cameron Tringale, former Zurich champion Jerry Kelly and Daniel Berger.

Tringale had a 65, and de Jonge shot 70.

Kelley was on the 18th green when play was stopped, and Berger had three holes left.
