Casey stumbles at Perth golf event

England’s Paul Casey has fallen off the pace at the Perth International, with a series of bogeys sending the former world No.3 tumbling down the leaderboard.

Casey started the day in a tie for fourth at five-under-par, and took a share of the lead early on Friday after a solid start to his round, which began on the back nine.

But after dropping five strokes in a horror six-hole stretch, Casey is five shots off the pace at two-under with four more holes to play.

Overnight leaders Michael Hendry and Alejandro Canizares, who shot seven-under 65s on Thursday, are yet to tee off.

World No.24 Bo van Pelt, who shot two-under on Thursday, is five-under with four holes to play.
