Australia’s Scott Hend won the Hong Kong Open on Sunday, defeating Filipino Angelo Que in a playoff.
The pair finished tied on 13-under in the southern Chinese city before the Australian holed out for a par four and Que could only manage a bogey on the first extra hole.
The 41-year-old Queenslander collected a winner’s cheque of $US216,660 ($A234,000) at the $US1.3 million ($A1.41 million) tournament co-sanctioned by the European and Asian Tours.
