Australia’s Marc Leishman has enjoyed his first career win at the Travelers Championship PGA Tour title at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.
The 28-year-old from Warrnambool in Victoria shot an impressive eight-under par 82 on the final round on Monday to grab an early clubhouse lead.
But Leishman had to wait over two hours for the win, as those around him fell short.
Leishman finished the tournament at 14-under, one shot ahead of Bubba Watson.
The win earned Leishman $US1,080,000. ($A1.08 million)
