The Malaysian Open golf event was suspended for the third straight day because of thunderstorms, with Australian Wade Ormsby tied for 10th.
Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand shot a seven-under-par 65 to hold the clubhouse lead after Saturday’s second round.
The leaders were just beginning their third round when the weather forced them indoors at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.
Kiradech was 11-under after two holes of the third round, a stroke ahead of 2011 Masters champion Charl Schwartzel, who shot a 68 and then had a birdie and par in his third round.
Three-time major winner Padraig Harrington completed four holes of the third round after a second-round 68 to have a share of third place at nine-under with Anders Hansen, Edoardo Molinari, Peter Lawrie, Victor Dubuisson, Gregory Bourdy and Wu Ashun.
Ormsby, who completed three holes of his third round, is a shot further back.
