An ailing Greg Norman has pulled out of the Australian PGA Championship at Coolum after playing just two holes.
Tournament officials confirmed Norman was suffering from suspected food poisoning.
Making a rare tournament appearance, the 57-year-old former world No.1 made two bogeys before withdrawing from the tournament early on Thursday.
Norman had told reporters on Wednesday he was in very good shape and was going out to play a game of tennis on the tournament eve at the Coolum resort.
