Adam Scott hasn’t disappointed punters who backed him in day one of the US Masters, with the defending champ firming from $10 into $6.00 with online bookmaker sportsbet after shooting three under.
The same can’t be said for Australia’s next best hope in Jason Day who has drifted from $13 to $46 after shooting three over.
Leader Bill Haas has been a big mover in from $81 to $15, while Bubba Watson ($8.50) and Rory McIlroy ($9.00) also amongst the top hopes.
“There is a long way to go but Scott was impressive on day one so his odds have pretty much halved. The $10 on offer at the start of the tournament is looking pretty good at the moment,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson.
Aussie Marc Leishman is also still in the hunt after firming from $76 to $31.
