Fifteen Australians have already booked their spots at St Andrews, with Adam Scott and Jason Day the obvious favourites at to lead the green and gold brigade.

“Adam Scott and Jason Day are proven big time performers, so it’s no surprise to see they’re the best backed of the Australians over two weeks out,” said William Hill’s Tim Ashworth.

“But with the likes of Ogilvy, Leishman, Bowditch and Senden in the field, it’s the best shot for Australian to lift the Claret Jug since Norman in 1993.”

21-year old Cam Smith, who lit up the USPGA a little over a week ago, joins Aaron Baddeley, Robert Allenby and Cameron Percy as the final four Australians hoping to book their trips to Scotland with a big finish at the Greenbrier Classic.

Jordan Speith is holding around 30% of the book, but reigning Champion and World Number One, Rory McIlroy, remains the $5.50 frontrunner.

“They’re the two best golfers in the game right now, but it’s the consistent Brit in Justin Rose who’s seeing love. One William Hill punter stands to win $19,000 should Rose claim the Claret Jug on July 19th,” said Ashworth.
