AFL player Liam Jungarai Jurrah has been granted bail after being accused in Alice Springs of taking part in a machete attack.
A court in Alice Springs granted bail on Friday, with the Melbourne Football Club player due to reappear in court on May 17.
Under the bail conditions Jurrah must take the first flight out of the Northern Territory heading to Victoria and not contact any relatives nominated as a witness by the prosecution.
He must also report to the Officer in Charge of police in Victoria and reside in that state.
Jurrah has been charged with unlawfully causing serious harm and being armed with an offensive weapon at night.
