Victoria moved another step closer to hosting the domestic one-day cricket final when they made 8-242 against Queensland on Saturday.
Michael Hill top-scored with 88 and Matthew Gale took 5-67 from 11 overs.
Victoria lead the points table by one game ahead of the February 27 final and South Australia are second.
The Bushrangers’ total on Saturday means even they lose to the Bulls, SA will need a massive win at home against New South Wales on Sunday to take top spot.
Queensland started well, restricting Victoria to only 1-18 from the first 10 overs.
Former Test paceman Ryan Harris, playing his first match for the Bulls this summer, had opener Rob Quiney caught behind for two.
But Hill and Chris Rogers steadily took the initiative with a 125-run stand.
By the time Rogers was well-caught by Peter Forrest off the bowling of captain James Hopes for 60, Victoria were 2-130 in the 30th over.
David Hussey belted 22 from 18 balls before Hopes had him caught behind and from there Queensland kept a reasonable check on the run rate.
Peter Handscomb made 38, with Forrest catching him on the boundary from the last ball of the innings to give Gale his fifth wicket.
Hopes took 1-30 from seven overs in an encouraging return.
But he also dropped a straightforward chance from Rogers when the batsman was 35.
