Tasmanian captain George Bailey has won the toss and chosen to bowl in the crucial Sheffield Shield match against Queensland at Bellerive.

The Tigers can leapfrog Victoria and Western Australia into second place and the box seat for a place in the final with victory over the ladder-leading Bulls.

Tasmanian allrounder James Faulkner and Queensland captain James Hopes have been left out because of injury.
