SYDNEY THUNDER (3-3) ($1.77) v BRISBANE HEAT (1-3) ($2.00)

The Wolf’s concern is that the Heat still aren’t scoring enough runs to be competitive with the top teams in the BBL. We know they have played the least games this season so total runs is not an accurate way to measure their scoring, rather it is key batsmen not making consistent scores which is the issue.

Baz McCullum is really struggling in BBL|08, averaging just 7.5 from his 4 innings and finding the boundary just 3 times. The Wolf would be much harsher on any other player but we have a lot of love and respect for the Kiwi.

Chris Lynn over 26.5 runs ($1.88)

Max Bryant over 18.5 runs ($1.88)

Both the Thunder and the Heat have some of the biggest hitters in BBL|08 with Jos Buttler, Daniel Sams, Chris Lynn and Ben Cutting all in the top 6 in the competition for 6’s hit this season. Despite thinking that the Thunder will win this game, young Max Bryant is averaging 24.25 at the top of the order and should clear a conservative 18.5 runs in this game.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Wolf knows that the Heat won their first game with their lowest score of the season (139) and whilst they won with an over to spare, they left Ben Cutting with plenty of work to do before the result was certain against the Scorchers.

The Heat just haven’t shown us enough consistently for the Wolf to be confident that they will win this game. Even if one of their batsmen explodes, the Thunder still have a strong batting attack and should find a win.
