Sri Lanka take 177-run lead over Pakistan

Sri Lanka, replying to Pakistan’s first innings total of 138, have been dismissed for 315 in the morning session of the third day’s play in the second Test in Colombo.

When play began on Saturday after a 45-minute delay due to bad weather, Sri Lanka added 11 runs to their overnight score of 9-304 for a lead of 177 runs.

Leg-spinner Yasir Shah finished with figures of 6-96 for Pakistan, who lead the three-match series after winning the first Test in Galle by 10 wickets.
