SA chase one-day cricket hosting rights

South Australia can claim hosting rights for the final of the domestic one-day cup if they beat Victoria in their clash at the MCG on Saturday.

Michael Klinger’s Redbacks have lost top spot on the table following Tasmania’s win over Queensland on Wednesday.

However, South Australia can move to 27 points, one ahead of the Bulls, with victory on Saturday.

The Redbacks have regained Test spinner Nathan Lyon from a thigh injury.

Playing for pride, Victoria have rested Test paceman Peter Siddle while fellow quick Jayde Herrick is out with an ankle injury.

Victoria have promoted uncapped quick Andrew Fekete to their squad.

The final is scheduled for February 25.
