SA all out for 224 against Vics in Shield

Victoria decided not to enforce the follow-on after bowling South Australia out for 224 in the Sheffield Shield match in Adelaide.

The Bushrangers took a 213 run first innings lead when spinner Jon Holland (3-43) took the last Redback wicket some 35 minutes into Saturday’s third day.

Victorians Scot Boland, Alex Keath and Andrew McDonald all took two wickets.

Opener James Smith top scored with 76 and Tom Cooper made 42 but they were the only Redbacks batsmen to pass 18 on a perfect batting pitch.

Despite SA’s struggles with the bat, Bushrangers captain Cameron White opted against making the home side follow on.
