Play resumes in 5th ODI after delay

Play has resumed in the fifth one-day international between Australia and the West Indies in St Lucia after a short rain delay.

Australia, who need to win the match to avoid losing an ODI series to the Windies for the first time in 17 years, were 3-201 in the 39th over when rain started to fall.

The delay, which lasted for about 45 minutes, hasn’t cost the match any overs.

Peter Forrest will resume on 37 not out while Brett Lee, promoted in a pinch-hitting role, is unbeaten on three.

Shane Watson (66) and David Warner (69) earlier set Australia a good platform to post a big total, making 118 at a run-a-ball for the first wicket.
