NSW to bowl against WA in one-dayer

NSW won the toss and chose to bowl in their one-day cup clash with fellow strugglers Western Australia at the WACA Ground.

NSW were humiliated by an innings and 323 runs in the recent Shield clash with WA in Perth, and are without spinner Nathan Hauritz (shoulder) and allrounder Moises Henriques (side strain).

However, former Test opener Simon Katich has recovered from a bout of concussion and is a welcome return for the Blues who are also boosted by Mitchell Starc after the left-arm paceman was released from national duties.

Shaun Marsh captains WA in the absence of skipper Marcus North (finger) and vice-captain Adam Voges (shoulder), with paceman Ryan Duffield named 12th man.

Trent Copeland carries the drinks for the Blues.

WA sit last on the one-day table with just one win, while NSW (three wins) have fared little better.

WA: Shaun Marsh (capt), Tim Armstrong, Michael Beer, Jason Behrendorff, Travis Birt, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Liam Davis, Matt Dixon, Wes Robinson, Luke Ronchi, Craig Simmons, Ryan Duffield (12th man).

NSW: Stephen O’Keefe (capt), Sean Abbott, Brad Haddin, Phil Hughes, Simon Katich, Usman Khawaja, Nic Maddinson, Ben Rohrer, Steve Smith, Mitch Starc, Chris Tremain, Trent Copeland (12th man).
