Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin will lead a near national strength NSW side in the opening domestic one-day cricket match of the season against Tasmania at Bankstown Oval on Sunday.
Even without Australian captain Michael Clarke, champion allrounder Shane Watson and injured pacemen Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins, the Blues have named 10 players who have represented Australia or Australia A.
The only members of the 12 not in those categories are youngsters Sean Abbott and Kurtis Patterson.
The match will begin the new-look format of the tournament, with all matches between the six teams in Sydney, including the final on October 27.
