Rohit Sharma scored a century as Mumbai Indians beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 27 runs in the Indian Premier League on Saturday.
Sharma made 109 off 60 balls in sharing an unbroken 167-run stand with Herschelle Gibbs (66) for Mumbai to reach an impressive 1-182 after electing to bat at Eden Gardens.
Kolkata managed 4-155 in reply, with Jacques Kallis (79) and Yusuf Pathan (40 not out) keeping the home side in the hunt.
Mumbai climb to third place in the standings with eight wins and five losses. Kolkata is second with eight wins, four losses and one no-result.
Delhi Daredevils lead with nine wins and three losses.
