Ireland choose to bat first against Aust

Ireland have won the toss and will bat first in their opening Group B World Twenty20 clash with Australia on Wednesday.

Australia have recalled 19-year-old paceman Pat Cummins who was rested from Monday’s warm-up game against England, with Clint McKay dropped.

The match is due to start under sunny skies although showers have been forecast with a top of 29.
