Australian Test fast bowler Ryan Harris returns to action on Saturday for Queensland in their domestic one-day cup match against South Australia at North Sydney Oval.
The injury-prone Harris, who it is hoped will spearhead the Australian attack in the Ashes series beginning next month, was rested from Thursday’s match against NSW having made his return to cricket last weekend following a two-month absence.
South Australia have made two changes to the side that secured their first win of the season with Andrew McDonald omitted due to hamstring soreness, along with bowler Chadd Sayers.
Coming into the team for the Redbacks are Joe Mennie and Matt Weaver.
South Australia won the toss and elected to bowl.
Australian Test hopeful Usman Khawaja will be looking to maintain his push for Ashes selection, having scored three successive half-centuries at the top of the order for Queensland.
