Victorian batsman Aaron Finch struck 64 runs to lead Pune Warriors to their first win of the Indian premier League season by seven wickets over Rajasthan Royals on Thursday.
Chasing a modest 146, the home side overhauled the target with eight balls to spare for their first win in three matches.
The Warriors romped home easily on the foundation laid by the openers — Finch (64 of 53 balls) and Robin Uthappa (32 off 16 balls) — who raised 58 runs in just 4.5 overs at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium.
Ross Taylor and Yuvraj Singh, who returned to the side after missing the second match due to a sore back, chipped in with 17 and 28 not out.
