Australia win toss, bat v Sri Lanka

Australia have won the toss and will bat in the opening one-day finals clash with Sri Lanka at the Gabba on Sunday.

Australian captain Michael Clarke returns from injury and replaces Peter Forrest while Clint McKay makes way for veteran quick Brett Lee.

For Sri Lanka, Thisara Perera and Angelo Mathews are out injured while Farveez Maharoof, Dammika Prasad and Upul Tharanga return to the squad.

Sri Lanka have never beaten Australia in an ODI at the Gabba but they have emerged as a bogey team for the hosts.

They have won five of the last seven ODIs against Australia here.
