Australia to bat against India in ODI

Australia will bat after winning the toss against India for Sunday’s one-day cricket international at Adelaide Oval.

India rested star batsman Sachin Tendulkar for the fixture, while Australia included Peter Forrest for his international debut.

The unbeaten Australians, with nine points from their two matches, named allrounder Mitchell Marsh as their 12th man for a game to start in fine and warm conditions.

India recalled Gautam Gambhir as Tendulkar’s replacement for their team, which have banked four points from a win and a loss in the triangular tournament also including Sri Lanka.
