Essendon coach John Worsfold says the Swiss anti-doping appeal won’t be a distraction for the AFL club’s season.

All 34 current and former Bombers players in the doping case have joined the appeal to the Swiss Federal Supreme Court in a last-ditch bid to clear their names.

“I have no idea if it’s the right move, but they have every right to take that pathway, so I respect that and I absolutely wish them all the best,” Worsfold said.
