Will Minson’s season has gone from bad to worse, with the Western Bulldogs ruckman sent off in a VFL game for allegedly pushing an umpire.

Minson was playing for the Bulldogs’ VFL side Footscray when he was sent off early in the second term of Sunday’s match against North Ballarat at Whitten Oval.

The 2013 All Australian has not played in the AFL since round three.

He faces certain suspension if found guilty of the offence.
