A trip to Ballarat looks to have done Luke Beveridge and the Dogs a world of good.
On the back of another disheartening display against Melbourne a week earlier, the Bulldogs responded with a comfortable 48-point win over Gold Coast led by a six-goal bag from Cody Weightman.
As expected, West Coast remains winless during this tough stretch of schedule, not helped by the fact key forward Oscar Allen is set for a two-month stint on the sideline as he recovers from a minor knee operation.
The Eagles were thumped by 65 points against the Giants last Sunday, and so far, rank dead last in points scored per-game.
Part of me wonders if last weeks win said more about the Suns rather than the Dogs, but after losing to West Coast late last season, this should be somewhat of a revenge game for Beveridge and company.
The Bulldogs still have a bit to clean up around the ruck, but with their handball chains and disposal efficiency looking much cleaner last week, they should be in for a nice percentage booster.
