However, the win came at a significant cost, with Jamie Elliott rupturing his ACL and Darcy Moore sustaining a hamstring injury. These sides played out a thriller when they last met, with Collingwood ultimately securing a 76-70 victory at the MCG in Round 2 of last year, although it should be noted that the Bulldogs were missing Bontempelli on that night.
