The Eagles’ woes deepened with a 126-32 hammering from the Bulldogs last week, leaving them at 1-21 and with eight losses by 50 points or more this season. Their rebuild remains at rock bottom, though a final home outing could spark some fight.
Sydney sits at 11-11, a respectable record on paper but a clear failure after last year’s grand final appearance. Missing finals for just the fourth time since 2003, the Swans will be desperate to at least close the year on a positive note.
