The North Melbourne Kangaroos and West Coast Eagles will be fighting to keep their season alive for a further week when the two sides line up for the second of the elimination finals on Sunday afternoon. In the last month the home side have recorded confidence boosting wins over Geelong and Collingwood before coming up a touch short last week against Premiership favourites, Hawthorn. McKenzie was able to restrain North’s big forward and leading goal kicker Drew Petrie to just one goal when the sides met in Round 15. North will continue to do what they do well and move the ball (they are third in the league in handballs and fourth in disposals) and attempt to keep the West Coast’s dynamic duo of Dean Cox and Nic Naitanui moving.
