GWS will aim to move back to an even record for the season when it travels west to face a struggling Eagles outfit. The Giants showed impressive resilience last week, overturning a 26-point deficit against Essendon to keep their finals hopes alive. While GWS has been inconsistent away from home this year, the matchup against West Coast presents a significant opportunity given the Eagles’ disastrous recent form. West Coast has now lost six straight games by more than 60 points on average and continues to battle badly with defensive structure and contested football. GWS has also dominated recent meetings between the clubs, including a crushing 59-point victory last season led by Finn Callaghan’s outstanding midfield display.
