Preview:
A Western Derby concludes a blockbuster Saturday of footy when the Eagles and Dockers do battle in Perth. The Coasters have had the wood over their fierce rivals in recent times, winning seven straight derby games. This game could have some extra spice with Andrew Gaff playing his first game back in Perth since his now infamous hit on Dockers youngster Andrew Brayshaw that saw him sidelined for seven weeks. Nat Fyfe is in doubt for the Dockers in this one after going off with concussion last weekend. The Dockers held on for a narrow win against the Saints despite his absence, with the Eagles toppling the much-fancied Pies by 22 points. Big forwards at either end of the ground will ensure plenty of action for defenders of either side, but Dockers recruit Jesse Hogan hasn’t troubled the scorers in his two games so far and will need to get going if they are a chance of winning. Freo will be fired up and this game is traditionally unpredictable, but The Wolf can only see a big Eagles win in this one.
