West Coast’s average losing margin this season stands at a staggering 59.2 points. Essendon, on the other hand, improved to 2-2 with a 96-57 victory over Melbourne, led by Zach Merrett’s 37 disposals and four goals from Jye Menzie. The Bombers were also successful in both meetings with West Coast last season, winning 122-92 at Marvel Stadium and 77-71 at Optus Stadium, with Merrett averaging 28.5 disposals and booting four goals. Essendon has now won four straight against the Eagles.
