Sydney skipper Adam Goodes, Western Bulldogs defender Brian Lake and Melbourne co-captain Jack Grimes can all accept one-match AFL suspensions.
Goodes will be ineligible to win a third Brownlow Medal this season if he takes the early guilty plea after being reported on Saturday for rough conduct against Port Adelaide’s Jacob Surjan.
The Swans co-captain slid into Surjan, knees first, and the match review panel on Monday upheld the charge.
Lake was booked in the last quarter of Saturday night’s heavy loss to St Kilda after he hit Tom Simpkin to the jaw with a left jab.
Grimes had a bad postscript to a painful match when the match review panel charged him with rough conduct.
The Demons midfielder was penalised for a sling tackle on Daniel Jackson during Saturday’s 59-point loss loss against Richmond.
Grimes also tried to tackle Jackson later in the game and was concussed when the Tigers midfielder fell on top of him.
Carlton midfielder Marc Murphy can accept a $900 fine for making an obscene gesture, while Melbourne onballer Nathan Jones has the same penalty for negligent umpire contact.
