Tigers not flirting with AFL form

Richmond coach Damien Hardwick says nothing will change at his club after their round 23 opponents North Melbourne dropped a selection bombshell by preparing to rest up to 10 players.

Both sides are locked in for finals, but if the Kangaroos follow through with the decision they could be gifting the Tigers a last-up win against a below-strength side.

The most likely outcome from a Richmond win on Friday night is a rematch in the elimination final but Hardwick was unfazed.

He said North Melbourne play the same style irrespective of personnel and he expected no different both weeks.

Hardwick said “not flirting with form” was a part of his philosophy and likely to influence him most when selecting the club’s side on Thursday afternoon.
