While Buddy Franklin remains the $3.25 favourite with online bookmaker sportsbet to win this year’s Coleman Medal, punters have turned to Adelaide’s Taylor Walker at $5.00 to kick the most goals this year.
After kicking three goals over the weekend, Walker has firmed from $5.50 to $5.00.
But in a sign that he is the punters pick, he has now received more money than any other player to kick the most goals and has also had the most bets placed on him.
“Are punters scared off by Buddy’s contract talks? Maybe, but then again Taylor’s mullet is pretty scary as well and that certainly hasn’t turned punters away! In fact, they can’t get enough of him to win the Coleman and has easily been the best backed,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson.
West Coast’s Josh Kennedy has also been a mover for the Coleman Medal and is in from $16 to $12, while Matthew Pavlich has drifted from $6.00 to $9.00.
