When: 19:25 | Saturday 04/08/2018

Where: SCG

Preview:

Very important game for the Swans and they need the win so that they can stay in touch with the top 8.
Buddy Franklin hasn’t kicked a big bag in the last couple of weeks but he hasn’t trained all year and is struggling to cover the ground.
I wouldn’t expect him to be able to have a major impact with the issues he has with his body.
Collingwood were really strong in their defeat to the Tigers considering they lost two players to injury early in the game.
They can take lots of positives out of the game.
KEY BATTLE: Darcy Moore v Buddy Franklin
Moore did a really good job on Jack Riewoldt last week and this will be another good test for the young defender.
The Verdict
Sydney leads Collingwood 6-4 since 2010 but the Swans look gone to me, so I think the Pies will win.

AFL News:

Sydney veterans Kieren Jack and Jarrad McVeigh are in the box seat to return from injury against Collingwood in Saturday night’s crunch AFL clash, while Dan Hannebery could also be a surprise starter at the SCG.

Jack (knee), McVeigh (broken collarbone) and Hannebery (calf) were all hurt in the Swans’ costly loss to Geelong on July 5.

The trio haven’t played since, missing losses to Gold Coast and Essendon that have resulted in Sydney slipping out of the top eight.
