Swans smash Crows in AFL semi

Sydney have surged through to an AFL preliminary final showdown against Geelong with a 36-point home victory over Adelaide at the SCG.

The Swans rebounded in style from last week’s qualifying final loss to cross-town rivals Greater Western Sydney, kicking the first three goals of the match on their way to an 18.10 (118) to 12.10 (82) victory.

Lance Franklin and Tom Papley both kicked four goals and Ben McGlynn three as the Swans never relinquished control, with the Crows getting no closer than 19 points in the second half.
