Sydney have suffered an early blow in their AFL match against Hawthorn, with Jake Lloyd knocked out early in the first quarter.
He copped an accidental knee to the head from Liam Shiels in the opening stages of the SCG contest.
Lloyd headed straight to the rooms and failed a concussion test. He will play no further part in the match.
