Former Sydney co-captain Kieren Jack and ruckman Sam Naismith are in contention to return to AFL action in Thursday night’s AFL clash against the Western Bulldogs.
While Jack and Naisimith have overcome their respective injury issues, Swans’ coach John Longmire said Sydney’s other recent co-captain Jarrad McVeigh is still not ready to return from his calf problem..
Longmire will have his three specialist ruckmen available for one of the few times this season, but at least one will miss out for the SCG clash with the reigning premiers.
