Victoria has offered to hold a state funeral for Collingwood great and AFL personality Lou Richards.
Richards died on Monday aged 94 after a long and celebrated career as a player and media figure.
A state government spokesman said the offer of the state funeral had been made to Richards’ family, who were considering it.
