Greater Western Sydney are breathing sighs of relief with star AFL forward Jeremy Cameron escaping with a fine after he was charged with striking at the weekend.
Cameron, who missed the first four games of the 2016 season through suspension, can accept a $1000 fine for striking North Melbourne’s Scott Thompson during a pre-season game.
In other match review panel news, Richmond forward Jack Riewoldt’s match-day report was thrown out, as was Gold Coast co-captain Steven May’s.
