Preview:

ST KILDA’S season, after starting with such promise, reached its lowest point on Sunday when the team went down to Geelong by 96 points. It wasn’t the Saints’ heaviest defeat but coach Alan Richardson said it was their worst effort for the year. It leaves the Saints with just three wins and a run of seven losses in a row. West Coast snapped a three-game losing streak on Saturday when it survived a late challenge by Gold Coast. It leaves the Eagles with five wins from 12 games and considerable work to do if they’re to push for a top eight finish.
