Sloane out of Crows-Eagles AFL match

Rory Sloane will miss Adelaide’s finals-shaping clash with West Coast unless he successfully challenges a rough-conduct charge from the AFL’s match review panel.

Sloane was handed a one-week ban for an ugly spoil on Port Adelaide’s Brad Ebert, seen as careless conduct with medium impact to Ebert’s head.

Jordan Lewis is free to play in Hawthorn’s game with Collingwood after the panel viewed his punch of West Coast ruckman Scott Lycett as below the force required for a report.
