A Serbian fitness expert has joined the high performance unit at AFL club Port Adelaide.

Mladen Jovanovic, who has worked with soccer teams in Sweden and Belgrade and most recently at the Aspire Academy in Qatar, has been appointed by the Power as a full-time strength coach and data scientist.

Port’s world-renowned high performance manager Darren Burgess announced Jovanovic’s appointment on Twitter on Tuesday.
